Buy RPG Maker VX Ace - Old School Modern Graphics Pack-75%. Take your game to the modern era with the Old School Modern resource pack. My second official RPG Maker DLC graphics pack has been released. The first pack that I made was called Old School Modern, and you can check it out here. The new pack is an expansion on the first one, and it mostly includes a shitload of new characters, as well as battlers for nearly all of them.
Some of the DLC that features Tilesets are very different art styles, I'd love to use a bunch of different ones together, but before buying and experimenting. I am curious to find out which different DLC really compliments each other and uses a similar art style so that say using tiles from both in one game won't feel out of place? I'm considering making a sort-of time travel style game so having all these different styles would really be nice but I don't want them to seem off. Any suggestions for ones that work well together would be nice! Excellent question. You had the same thought i had when i was designing my first game. I took a break from that concept though, to start something else.
What i realized was that Modern Tiles and Futuristic Tiles work in harmony together. Work ok with some of the default pre-existing tiles of the RPGVXA. So that's what you need for a time travel game i guess. I am not sure (don't own it yet) but i believe that the Zombie pack must work nice with modern tiles, thus, it must also work nice with futuristic. Heres my list, if you want to use them with the default set that comes with rpg maker. Because i do not own every set, nor have i friends who own them i can only judge some resource packs from the pictures on the steam page. In this case i do not give a final statement.
